Terms of Use
1. Purpose
Precepte is a digital product developed and operated by FRC Consultores Associados LTDA (FRC) for the educational and administrative management of medical residency programs (schedules, attendance, evaluations, communications, and indicators). It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace an electronic patient record.
2. Acceptance
By signing up an institution, creating an account, activating an institutional invite, or using the app/site, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Electronic acceptance: in the public institution signup, acceptance is given by ticking the checkbox agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy at the review step, before submitting. Precepte records the date and time of acceptance, the version of the accepted documents (identified by the effective date, such as 2026-09-29), and the language in which they were presented. When a new version requires a new acceptance, it will be requested in the product.
3. Institution signup and administrator account
- Institutions that run or support residency programs can sign up through the website or the app, without a prior invitation.
- The signup is made by the person responsible for the institution, who declares being authorized to represent it and to accept these Terms on its behalf.
- The first account created at signup is the institution’s administrator account. It invites the other people, assigns their roles, and is responsible for the institution’s initial setup in Precepte.
- No password is entered in the signup form: it is set through the link sent to the email address provided, which confirms ownership of that email address.
- Accounts with administrative privileges may have to confirm a phone number with a code sent by SMS before performing sensitive actions, such as inviting other people.
- Signup information must be truthful and kept up to date. FRC may refuse, suspend, or close signups showing signs of fraud, abuse, or use unrelated to the product’s purpose.
4. Accounts and eligibility
- Access is granted by the user institution (an invite sent by the administrator account or by authorized roles), through the public signup described in section 3, or through other authorized flows.
- You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
- Roles (RBAC) limit what each user can view and change within the institution.
5. Free of charge
Precepte is provided free of charge: FRC does not charge user institutions or their users for access to or use of the available features, and there is no payment-based limit on the number of accounts.
FRC may, in the future, offer optional paid additional features. No charge will be made without prior notice and the user institution’s specific acceptance of the additional feature. Not purchasing additional features does not remove access to the free features.
6. Acceptable use
- Use Precepte only for legitimate residency-program purposes.
- Do not attempt to bypass multi-tenancy, RBAC, geofencing, or audit controls.
- Do not enter patient clinical data or unlawful content.
- Do not create false signups, signups on behalf of others without authorization, or automated signups.
- Do not interfere with platform availability or security.
7. Content and institutional responsibility
The user institution is responsible for governance of the educational/administrative data it publishes in Precepte (schedules, evaluations, internal policies). FRC provides the infrastructure and technical controls described in the privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
Precepte software, design, and documentation belong to FRC or their respective licensing owners. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service under these Terms.
9. Availability and changes
FRC may update the product, these Terms, and the privacy policy. The effective date indicates the current version. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or factors beyond reasonable control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FRC is not liable for academic/administrative decisions made by the institution based on system information, nor for indirect damages arising from use. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer or data-subject rights that cannot be waived by law.
11. Termination
The user institution may stop using Precepte at any time and request closure of its signup through support. The administrator account and authorized roles may deactivate accounts of their own institution. FRC may suspend or end access for an account or an institution in case of Terms violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or discontinuation of the service, with prior notice whenever possible. You may request deletion of your own account via the product flow (Profile) or support.

13. Governing law / venue
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The venue is the court of the consumer user’s domicile when applicable. In all other cases, the courts of Recife-PE, Brazil apply, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
