Terms of Use
1. Purpose
Precepte is an educational and administrative management platform for medical residency programs (schedules, attendance, evaluations, communications, and indicators). It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace an electronic patient record.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, activating an institutional invite, or using the app/site, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- Access is granted by the customer institution (invite/activation) or authorized flows.
- You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
- Roles (RBAC) limit what each user can view and change within the institution.
4. Acceptable use
- Use Precepte only for legitimate residency-program purposes.
- Do not attempt to bypass multi-tenancy, RBAC, geofencing, or audit controls.
- Do not enter patient clinical data or unlawful content.
- Do not interfere with platform availability or security.
5. Content and institutional responsibility
The customer institution is responsible for governance of the educational/administrative data it publishes in Precepte (schedules, evaluations, internal policies). Precepte provides the infrastructure and technical controls described in the privacy policy.
6. Intellectual property
Precepte’s brand, software, design, and documentation belong to their respective owners. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service under these Terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may update the product, these Terms, and the privacy policy. The effective date indicates the current version. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or factors beyond reasonable control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Precepte is not liable for academic/administrative decisions made by the institution based on system information, nor for indirect damages arising from use. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer or data-subject rights that cannot be waived by law.
9. Termination
The institution or Precepte may end or suspend access for Terms violations, security risk, or contract end. You may request deletion of your own account via the product flow (Profile) or support.

11. Governing law / venue
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The venue is the court of the consumer user’s domicile when applicable; otherwise Florianópolis/SC, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
